Thinking about CHANGEd: What if we shared more? 60-60-60 #1 and reflecting…

I love “morning meeting time” in our youngest elementary classrooms. Students loosely gathered together on the rug, teachers facilitating conversations, no idea is off-limits. This kind of sharing…well, it could potentially last all day.

Students thinking. Listening. Answering. Questioning.

Possibly the most interdisciplinary part of the school day. And it goes away.

How might “morning meeting” look in middle school? In high school? In a faculty meeting?

This public sharing of passions, problems, and perspectives shouldn’t end when students are “too big” to sit on the rug.
